Welcome to Georgia Baptist Deaf Conference Website.

We will have Deaf Day at Mountain View Baptist Church on March 15, 2025.

I was born in Utah, then moved to Oregon and raised there for the rest of my life. I have been Deaf since birth. I was raised in a strong Catholic family and followed rituals that I didn’t understand at all. My childhood teacher was Christian and a former missionary before she got a teaching job. She led me and my family to the Deaf church’s children’s Sunday school in Oregon, where I fell in love with Jesus when I was around five. I shared it quickly with my school friends. My parents noticed it and knew I would be a future missionary one day. I left the Catholic faith for faith in Jesus. I graduated from university with a BA degree in geography, and my dream was to work in the environment or an anthropology job. I realized that God had plans for me.

After graduation, I moved to Mexico to work as a missionary teacher at a Deaf school for 2 years.
Afterward, I worked with the youth ministry for the Deaf in America, Honduras, and Jamaica. At that time, God advanced me to more training in His work than I could imagine. He led me to Thailand in 2014 and China in 2015. Shortly, I decided to leave the youth ministry to join the International Mission Board. So, I went to the Deaf Theological Center in 2016 to earn credits toward my master’s work and departed to Africa in 2017 and then to Central Asia. I currently serve in Southeast Asia. I graduated with an MA degree in Christian studies on Mission in 2021.

I love to travel and photograph. I also love to drink coffee.
