Georgia Baptist Conference of the Deaf was established on August 3, 1958, at First Baptist Church of Columbus GA with 40 messengers to approve the constitution and by-laws presented by Rev. Carter Beaden Sr. This organization has been operating for over 60 years with all volunteer officer positions from many different deaf ministries in Georgia Baptist Church all over the state of Georgia. The main purpose of this conference is bringing all Deaf ministry workers together for encouragement such as time to fellowship, worship together, receive training to prepare equip them doing God’s work in their hometown, and many more. We are grateful for all faithful servants through the past 60 years, and we look forward for many more years until the Lord comes back.
